Are You a Fool?
For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. – Romans 1:20-21 NKJV.
The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.” – Psalm 53:1a; Psalm 14:1a NKJV.
A. Renault is no fool, because he has complained about the billboards funded by the Humanist Society, which according to A. Renault are offensive and mock the Christian faith. The billboards say things like “In the beginning, man created god, there’s probably no god, now stop worrying and enjoy your life.” Also there is a sign that states, “We are all atheists about most gods, some of us just go one god further.” Mr. Renault complained to the Advertising Standards Authority; however, they have now rejected his complaint because they do not believe the billboards violate the advertising ethics rules. Mr. Renault is no fool, but apparently there are a few fools still out there.
Why is someone a fool not to believe in God? The answer is obvious according to the apostle Paul, “For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead….” In other words, you just have to look around at the world in which you live, the solar system, the galaxy, the universe; and for anyone who has a brain, it is obvious there is an intelligent designer, and Creator responsible for all of creation. Or, as some have said, you just have to look at your thumb to know that there is a Creator!
Our enemies have captured different pieces of our technology and have successfully reverse engineered the technology to create their own devices. The brightest human minds have been busy for decades trying to reverse engineer the human body. The result, progress has been made, but any doctor will tell you that we know little compared to what we need to know. If you take all the chemicals that make up the human body and throw them into the air, how many times will it take until they fall to the earth in the form of a human being? I would submit to you that you could do it a billion or trillion times, and it will never happen! Why? Because only God, the One true God can create life, breathing life into His creation.
You may not be able to talk to or see Alexander Graham Bell the inventor of the telephone, but you know that the telephone did not think itself up, and create itself. The telephone had a creator. There is a Creator for every living organism upon this planet. This planet did not think itself up, and create itself. No, the Planet Earth had a Creator, and that Creator is God.
Would you like to meet the Creator of all things? Would you like to meet God? You can by coming to know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. It is, of course, your choice. You can choose to be a fool, and deny what is obvious to anyone who honestly considers the evidence. You can do that, but as the Psalmist declares you are a fool if you do.
